Data for: Application of a SWAT Model for Supporting a Ridge-to-Reef Framework in the Pago Watershed in Guam

This study implemented experimental and numerical approaches for supporting the Pago Bay ridge-to-reef management program. Water quality tests for turbidity and inorganic dissolved nitrogen (IDN) were performed using water samples collected from four sites within the Pago Watershed. Water sampling has been conducted two times per week for a 9-week period (June 9, 2021–August 4, 2021). The additional sampling is performed to investigate storm implications on water quality by comparing water quality data from before and after storms. Historical daily precipitation, temperature, and discharge data were used for developing a SWAT model.
本研究采用实验与数值模拟相结合的方法,为帕果湾(Pago Bay)的山脊-珊瑚礁全流域管理计划提供支撑。针对浊度与溶解性无机氮(Inorganic Dissolved Nitrogen, IDN)两项水质指标,本研究利用帕果流域(Pago Watershed)内4处点位采集的水样开展检测。本次水样采集工作于2021年6月9日至2021年8月4日的9周周期内开展,每周实施2次采样。为探究风暴事件对流域水质的影响,研究增设补充采样环节,通过对比风暴前后的水质监测数据开展相关分析。本研究利用历史逐日降水、气温与径流量数据,开发了SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool,土壤与水资源评估工具)模型。
