External validation data for leopard resource selection function, South Africa, 2002-2012

For each of the 10 external validation sets, a Spearman's rank correlation is run between the observed number of locations and the ordinal rank of the corresponding RSF bins, and a linear regression between observed and expected number of locations in each bin is run to assess the predictive ability of the RSF.针对10个外部验证集分别开展两项统计分析：其一，在各验证集中计算观测位置数量与对应随机生存森林（Random Survival Forest，RSF）分箱的等级秩之间的斯皮尔曼等级相关系数；其二，针对每个分箱内的观测位置数量与预期位置数量执行线性回归，以此评估RSF的预测能力。
