This study compares the standard Cognitive Tutor Algebra tutor to one "enhanced" with worked examples. The treatment condition works exactly the same as the control with the exception that worked examples are presented to the students to copy on the first opportunity to practice a problem type. On subsequent opportunities, the worked example remains there to be referred to. It used ES_02, an equation-solving unit in 2006 Cognitive Tutor Algebra.
