Dataset for Biomechanics of Punching - Effective Mass Analysis This dataset contains biomechanical measurements related to different punching techniques in boxing. It includes raw sensor data, processed summary statistics, and analysis scripts. The data were collected to investigate the relationship between force transfer, impulse, and effective mass in trained boxers. #### **Included Files** - `total.xlsx` - summary dataset with key biomechanical variables. - Raw data files (`01 jab.xlsx`, `02 cross.xlsx`, etc.) - high-frequency sensor recordings.  - Jupyter notebooks (`butterworth filtered.ipynb`, `Impulse force.ipynb`) - scripts for filtering and analyzing punch events. - `README.md` - detailed instructions on using the dataset. #### **Usage** Researchers can use this dataset for:  - Biomechanical analysis of punching efficiency. - Sports science studies on kinetic chain dynamics. - Machine learning models for impact force prediction. #### **License** This dataset is provided under the **CC-BY 4.0** license.
