MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are important for plant growth and responses to pathogen via post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. Didymella segeticola (Basionym: Phoma segeticola) causes leaf spot on tea (Camellia sinensis), and tea leaf spot leads to a huge loss of tea leaves. To study the response of tea plant (Camellia sinensis) infected by Didymella segeticola (Basionym: Phoma segeticola), microRNA sequecing is available for indentifying the conserved and specific novel microRNAs of tea plant infected by Didymella segeticola for 3 days.
