Indicators of funding and support from the European Union and A.C. of the Basque Country, by country.

The main objective of the European Innovation Indicators Panel is to conduct a comparative analysis of the innovation performance of the EU-27 member states and to know the strengths and weaknesses of research and innovation systems. It is structured in four main blocks, with twelve dimensions, for a total of 32 indicators, from which a composite index is calculated that reflects the weight of the different dimensions. Depending on the score achieved in the composite indicator, countries are grouped into four categories: leading countries in innovation, countries with high innovation, countries with moderate innovation and countries with low innovation.
