National Estate rare flora and fauna species includes those species which are naturally rare or uncommon, or have become so through the effects of disturbances or threatening processes. Species were identified by experts and through literature review.\n\nThis dataset has been assessed against the following National Estate sub-criterion: B1: Importance for rare, endangered or uncommon flora, fauna, communities, ecosystems, natural landscapes or phenomena, or as a wilderness\n\nThis is an archived dataset jointly owned by the Commonwealth Government and NSW Governments under the NSW Regional Forest Agreements (RFA) Data Agreement of 31 March 2000.This data is available to the public from the Department and may be used by third parties for unrestricted use provided that the copyright interests of the owners are protected.\n\nAny reproduction of this dataset must carry the following statement:\nCopyright Commonwealth of Australia and New South Wales Government 1998.\nDepartmental Deed

国家遗产（National Estate）名录下的珍稀动植物物种，包含自然状态下即属稀有或少见的物种，以及因干扰或威胁性过程而沦为稀有/少见的物种。上述物种均经专家鉴定，并通过文献调研完成确认。

本数据集已依据下述国家遗产子标准完成评估：B1：对珍稀、濒危或少见的动植物、群落、生态系统、自然景观或自然现象，或作为荒野区域的重要价值。

本数据集为存档数据集，由澳大利亚联邦政府与新南威尔士州政府依据2000年3月31日签署的《新南威尔士州区域森林协议（Regional Forest Agreements，RFA）数据协议》共同持有。该数据集可通过相关主管部门向公众开放，第三方可无限制使用，但需保障版权所有者的合法权益不受侵害。
