资源简介:
Data associated with Wishart et al. Inferring condition in wild mammals: body condition indices confer no benefit over measuring body mass across ecological contexts. bioRxiv preprint: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.01.31.524791v3These tables contain morphometric data (right hind foot length in mm, zygomatic width in mm), body composition data (fat mass and lean mass, as measured using quantitative magnetic resonance), body mass, and individual sex and identifiers. Full description of methods and research context are given in the above article. All procedures were approved by the University of Saskatchewan Animal Research Ethics Board. Fieldwork was completed under permits issued by Yukon Territorial Government (red squirrels); Grasslands National Park and the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Environment (prairie dogs); and Alberta Parks (ground squirrels).
