Genome-wide identification of polymorphisms between C57BL/6 and JF1 and allele-specific expression analyses. Mus musculus molossinus

Two murine inbred strains, C57BL/6 and JF1, which have been frequently employed in imprinting studies, were chosen to determine more than 10 million polymorphic sites by a whole-genome resequencing. RNA-seq of E9.5 embryos and slightly differentiated ES cells of the reciprocal hybrids were also performed to determine allelic transcription levels at more than 100 thousand exonic sites. These data provide valuable resources for the research community of mammalian epigenetics.
