Dataset of Unpaved and Paved Road Surface with Seasons

The uneven road surface may cause significant harm to vehicles, drivers and pedestrians. At the same time, safety precautions need to be followed when speed braker or roadside barrier appears. Therefore, this dataset was prepared to detect different types of road surfaces. The dataset consists of 8484 RGB (512 x 512 pixels) images and 13 videos of various road structures such as potholes, speed braker and roadside barriers. This dataset was created during the rain and summer seasons for paved and unpaved roads. The images were taken from the top and side views with varying day-light conditions at Nashik and Mumbai. At the same time, videos were shot from a side view. The images and videos were captured using the rear camera of a mobile phone.路面不平整可能对车辆、驾驶员及行人造成显著危害。当遭遇减速带（speed braker）或路边护栏时，需遵循相应的安全防护规范。因此，本数据集旨在针对不同类型的路面状况开展检测工作。本数据集包含8484张分辨率为512×512像素的RGB（Red Green Blue）图像，以及13段涵盖坑洼、减速带、路边护栏等多种道路结构的视频。该数据集采集于雨季与夏季，覆盖铺装路面与非铺装路面。图像分别从俯视与侧视视角拍摄，拍摄地点为纳西克（Nashik）与孟买（Mumbai），且涵盖不同的日间光照条件；视频则均采用侧视视角拍摄。所有图像与视频均通过手机后置摄像头采集。
