An Integrative Transcriptome – Proteome Approach Reveals a Robust Expression Pattern of Small Intestinal Epithelial Organoids from Germ-Free and Microbiota Associated Donors

The goal of this study is to analyze the influence of different donor microbiota on small intestinal epithelial organoid cultures Overall design: Organoid cultures from mice with two different microbiota or from germ-free mice (3 mice per group) were generated. Organoids were cultured in parallel to passage 5-8 and then frozen for transcriptome analysis. M-ICc12 cells and MEFs were included as control/reference groups. m-ICc12 and Organoid samples were treated with 5 ng/ml TNF for 8 h.
