Population Receptive Field Properties in Developmental Prosopagnosics and Controls

This repository contains routines for preprocessing raw fMRI data and fitting population receptive fields (pRFs) to resultant timecourses, as used in the following work:Stehr, D.A., Zhang, Y., Patgiri, A., Kidder, A., Kay, K., Duchaine, B.D. Developmental prosopagnosics have normal spatial integration in posterior ventral face-selective regions. bioRxiv.The raw (unpreprocessed) fMRI data are available at: https://openneuro.org/datasets/ds006472The script "preproc/run.preproc.all.sh" demonstrates the preprocessing used for both sessions of fMRI data for a single subject. The "pRF" folder contains code used to conduct pRF fittings on preprocessed fMRI data. A good place to start is the script "example.m", which provides an introduction to the library of functions used. This script demonstrates fitting pRFs to sample real human retinotopy data as well as fitting pRFs to simulated timecourses (with and without noise added) for purposes of validation.
