Increasing Groundwater Recharge under a Wetter Climate Masks a Weakening Control of Extreme Precipitation in the Arid Loess Plateau

This spreadsheet provides a literature-based meta-analysis dataset of annual groundwater recharge for China’s Loess Plateau. It compiles 38 site records extracted from 11 published studies and was used to benchmark and evaluate QinFlow simulations in the associated manuscript. The Data sheet includes RefNo, a source identifier Reference linked to the References sheet, Journal, Method, site Latitude and Longitude in decimal degrees, Time, and Meta_GWR reported in mm per year. The References sheet lists the full source references for traceability, and the Descriptions sheet summarizes key field definitions. All recharge values were harmonized to consistent units, and the original studies should be cited when reusing the compiled estimates.
