本数据资源是中国遥感卫星地面站目前所接收和处理的 ENVISAT卫星数据。ENVISAT卫星是欧空局的对地观测卫星系列之一，于2002年3月1日发射升空。该卫星是欧洲迄今建造的最大的环境卫星。星上载有10种探测设备，其中4种是ER S-1/2所载设备的改进型，所载最大设备是先进的合成孔径雷达（ASAR），可生成海洋、海岸、极地冰冠和陆地的高质量图象，为科学家提供更高分辨率的图象来研究海 洋的变化。

This dataset comprises ENVISAT satellite data currently received and processed by the China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station. ENVISAT is one of the Earth observation satellite series of the European Space Agency (ESA), which was launched on March 1, 2002. It is the largest environmental satellite ever constructed in Europe to date. The satellite carries ten scientific instruments, four of which are upgraded variants of those onboard ERS-1 and ERS-2. The primary onboard instrument is the Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ASAR), which can generate high-quality images of oceans, coastal zones, polar ice caps and land surfaces, providing scientists with higher-resolution imagery to investigate changes in marine environments.
