Transcriptome analysis of ovarian and uterine clear cell malignancies

We performed RNA Sequencing on eleven ovarian clear cell carcinoma and five uterine clear cell carcinoma patients to identify the unique transcriptional expression profiles of clear cell uterine and ovarian cancer, and investigates correlations with demographic factors and tumor characteristics, such as stage and PD-L1 immunohistochemical expression. The Clear cells tumors were identified in the UCI , Tissue Biorepository, that had been collected between 1992 and 2017 for women aged 18 years and over, and were reviewed again to ensure they had pure clear cell histology and adequate available paraffin-embedded formalin-fixed tissue for PD1 and PD-L1 staining.
