Benchmark instances and generator script for the school bus location routing problem

This record contains the public benchmark material associated with the manuscript “A new school bus location routing problem with mixed loads and bus stop selection” by Willem Gerhard Meiring and Jan H. van Vuuren. The deposited material comprises three data archives containing the verification instances, sensitivity-analysis instances and larger 200-student stress-test instance, together with their accompanying CSV summaries. A frozen source-code snapshot of the public SBLRP instance generator is also included. The instance generator covers the Euclidean-buffer verification and sensitivity-analysis instance construction. It generates synthetic student locations, student-to-school allocations, student-to-stop walking-distance and coverage matrices, and the preprocessed optimisation input and metadata files. The larger 200-student stress-test instance was constructed through a separate OpenRouteService/OpenStreetMap residential-sampling workflow and is supplied directly in the corresponding archive.
