Strategic tablecloths for the future AEP of the Seine-Normandie basin

Strategic tablecloths for the future EPA correspond to the water resources that will allow the supply of drinking water in the future, taking into account the potential of the resources and changes in the need for drinking water. For these resources, meeting the needs for drinking water is recognised as a priority. These are resources: — which meet quantitatively the challenges of future supply; — located close to current and future consumption areas; — of the most satisfactory quality compared to other resources in the sector of the same quantitative scale. — currently operated, with the exception of the chalk table under alluvions in the Seine Valley. The strategic tablecloths and associated safeguard zones for the future are intended to be integrated into the basin’s protected areas register. The identification of strategic resources may lead, depending on the qualitative or quantitative vulnerability, to the definition of complementary management measures in the current SDAGE. 19 sectors of groundwater are involved, associated with 16 groundwater bodies and 14 bodies of groundwater. SDAGE 2022-2027 identifies these areas in its orientation 4.7为未来环境保护署（Environmental Protection Agency，EPA）规划的战略台地区（Strategic tablecloths），对应可保障未来饮用水供应的水资源，需综合考量水资源禀赋与饮用水需求的变化趋势。对于此类水资源，保障饮用水需求被列为优先事项。 此类水资源需满足以下条件： —— 在数量上可应对未来供水挑战； —— 毗邻当前及未来的饮用水消费区域； —— 在同等规模量级的水资源中，水质表现最优； —— 目前已投入运营，但塞纳河谷冲积层下的白垩台地（chalk table）除外。 此类未来战略台地区块及配套保障区，将被纳入流域保护区登记名录。 根据水质或水量的脆弱性特征，对战略水资源的识别工作可推动在现行流域水资源开发与管理总体规划（Schéma Directeur d'Aménagement et de Gestion des Eaux，SDAGE）中制定补充管理措施。 本次涉及19个地下水分区，关联16个地下水蓄水层及14个地下水单元。 2022-2027年版SDAGE在其第4.7项指导方针中明确了此类区域。
