Minutes of Standing Committee meeting 2025-01 Local History and Genealogy Section Standing Committee Tuesday, 7 January 2025, 10:00 PM-11:00 PM Tokyo Time (Japan). Via Zoom 1. Member present were: Cherie Bush, Takashi Nagatsuka, Jennifer Brannock, Michell Hackwelder, Wei Peng, Jingzhu Wei, Joyce Jelks. The number of attendees is 7. Approval of minutes of the section meeting on November 21. Michell H approved minutes from 21 November, Jennifer B seconded. 2. Takashi updated the group on the upcoming elections. 13 January begins the elections. 3. Cherie gave an update on the Satellite Meeting proposal. 4. Upcoming webinar: Introducing the Emerson History & Genealogy Center: An Exploration of Collection Moves, Genealogy Services, and a Memory Lab – IFLA.
