Human pancreatic beta cell transcriptomes from donors with and without T1D

We compared the transcriptome of bulk sorted T1D donor beta cells to those from non-diabetic donors. Overall design: Isolated human donor islets were fiexed, permeabilized, and atained for hormones. Beta cells were enriched by sorting for Insulin-positve cells and lysed for RNA purification. mRNA llibrarries prepared with either Nugen Ovation or Clotech SMARTER Pico kits were sequenced using Illumna NextSeq. Sequnce data was process through the DolphinNext RNA-Seq pipeline and Harman was used normalize based on library kit. DEBrowser was used to create differential gene expression lists.
