Phytophthora communities in the Stockton East Water District

This study aimed to characterize the Phytophthora populations in the Stockton East Water District (SEWD). This involved 1) a survey of SEWD waterways for Phytophthora communities throughout the irrigation season, 2) a survey of soil from orchards served by the SEWD for the presence of Phytophthora, and 3) collection of irrigation water for detecting of Phytophthora passing through irrigation systems.
