Expectations, barriers, and long-term care in rural settings: A qualitative study

This study, titled 'Expectations, barriers, and long-term care in rural settings: A qualitative study' utilized a qualitative approach. Through semi-structured interviews conducted in Spanish, the research explored the care expectations of dependent older adults residing in rural central Chile. The participant group consisted of 12 individuals ranging in age from 66 to 89 years, the majority of whom were women. To ensure participant confidentiality, data were anonymized by replacing direct identifiers with the string 'XXXX'.本研究题为《乡村环境中的预期、障碍与长期照护：一项质性研究》，采用质性研究范式。研究通过西班牙语开展半结构化访谈，对智利中部乡村地区的失能老年群体进行调研，旨在探究其照护预期。本次研究共纳入12名参与者，年龄介于66至89岁之间，其中绝大多数为女性。为保障参与者的隐私与信息安全，研究将所有直接识别信息替换为字符串“XXXX”，完成数据匿名化处理。
