Cynoglossus semilaevis Transcriptome or Gene expression. Cynoglossus semilaevis

Half-smooth tongue sole (Cynoglossus semilaevis) is one of the valuable fish for aquaculture in China. Sexual dimorphism, especially the different growth rate and body size between two sexes, makes this fish a good model to investigate mechanisms responsible for such dimorphism for both fundamental questions in evolution and applied topics in aquaculture. This study is aimed to get as much as gene sequences and genetic information through transcriptome pyrosequencing.
