Whiterot fungi Cerrena unicolor SP02 was isolated and screened as lignocellulosic wastes decay species, the wild strain showed various lignocellulolytic enzymes activities and growth adaptability of different agricultural waste substrates, by which agricultural waste utilized in biosafety way and obtained several industrially valuable enzymes.The gene prediction showed that encoding enzymes involved in degradation of cellulose, xylan, lignin, starch, mannan, galactoside, mannosidase and arabinan were found in the Cerrena unicolor SP02 genome. The genomic data provides insights into genomic basis of degradation mechanisms of lignin and cellulose, may pave new avenues for lignocellulose bioconversion.
