Water bodies of transition

Surface water bodies partly of a saline nature due to their proximity to coastal waters, but substantially affected by fresh water flows. In the case of the Po river basin they consist of both the terminal part of the deltizi branches of Po, and the valleys and lagoons of the delta.此类地表水体因毗邻沿海水域而部分具有咸水性质，但同时显著受到淡水径流的影响。以波河（Po）流域为例，该类水体既包括波河三角洲分支的末端河段，也涵盖三角洲的河谷与潟湖。
