The sample size for the structural model was determined based on the guidelines provided by (Krejcie & Morgan, 1970). According to their method, a minimum of 384 samples was required to achieve the desired effect size. A total of 1,500 questionnaires were distributed to administrators in SMEs within the construction industry in China. Ultimately, 408 responses were received, of which 327 were deemed valid after the initial data screening process.
