Plastic mulching mapping

This dataset provides high-resolution (10-meter) spatial distribution maps of plastic film mulching (PM) and severe soil salinization in the Hetao Irrigation District (HID), Inner Mongolia, China. The dataset covers an area of approximately 12,000 km² for the years 2020 and 2024. Derived from Sentinel-2 satellite imagery time series, these maps capture the spatial extent of spring mulch application and persistent severe salinity, providing explicit spatial information on the co-occurrence of these two agricultural and environmental factors.本数据集提供中国内蒙古河套灌区（Hetao Irrigation District, HID）内地膜覆盖（plastic film mulching, PM）与重度土壤盐渍化的高分辨率（10米）空间分布地图。该数据集涵盖2020年与2024年两个时段，覆盖面积约12000平方千米。本数据集源自哨兵二号（Sentinel-2）卫星影像时间序列，所生成的地图可捕捉春季覆膜作业的空间范围与持续性重度盐渍化分布，可为这两类农业与环境因子的共同发生情况提供明确的空间信息。
