武汉城市湿地空间分布动态数据集(1990-2020年)包含1990-2020年武汉市逐年的城市湿地空间分布数据。作为城市的重要组成部分,城市湿地在水源供给、增湿降温、雨洪调蓄、生物多样性保护等多个方面发挥着不可替代的作用。中国不断加大湿地的保护和城市湿地的建设,但在快速城镇化进程中,湿地总体上仍大面积损失。城市湿地萎缩造成了一系列的生态环境问题,严重威胁生态安全和城市可持续性。如何实现快速、准确的城市湿地监测,获取长时序、高频次的城市湿地时空动态变化信息,是我国城市可持续发展和湿地保护的重要课题。
The Dynamic Dataset of Spatial Distribution of Urban Wetlands in Wuhan (1990–2020) contains annual spatial distribution data of urban wetlands in Wuhan City from 1990 to 2020. As an essential component of urban ecosystems, urban wetlands play an irreplaceable role in multiple aspects including water supply, humidification and temperature regulation, stormwater and flood regulation and storage, and biodiversity conservation. China has continuously intensified wetland protection and urban wetland construction; however, wetlands have still suffered large-scale losses overall amid the rapid urbanization process. The shrinkage of urban wetlands has caused a series of ecological and environmental issues, which seriously threaten ecological security and urban sustainability. How to achieve rapid and accurate urban wetland monitoring and obtain long-time-series, high-frequency spatio-temporal dynamic change information of urban wetlands is a critical issue for China's urban sustainable development and wetland conservation.
