资源简介:
[EN] This is the experimental dataset used in the paper Chemistry-Methods, e202400057 (2025) (https://doi.org/10.1002/cmtd.202400057) in which quantitative information on historical Spanish enamels and grisailles was obtained from calibration curves generated from the model glass samples with known boron content. The procedure involves the compositional analyses of model glass samples (with well-known boron content), replica and historical materials using Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) and Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). Two methods for calibration curves were established based on LIBS and LA-ICP-MS analyses. In the first, the ratio of the corresponding relative intensities of boron and silicon with lead determined by LIBS measurements was represented as a function of the boron content (in wt %) measured by LA-ICP-MS. On the other hand, in the second approach, the ratio of the relative intensities of boron and silicon with lead obtained by LIBS was represented as a function of the ratio between the amount of boron and silicon with lead obtained by LA-ICP-MS. This data set includes the compositional results provided by LIBS and LA-ICP-MS, the in-depth LIBS analyses useful for studying boron degradation profiling, and the calibration curves. It also includes the images and optical profiles of the imprint left on the analyzed samples after laser irradiation observed using optical profilometry.
