Areas in the Netherlands 2002

In the publication Gebieden in the Netherlands 2002 a relationship is established between the municipal classification (lowest administrative level) on 1 January 2002 and various subdivisions of the Dutch territory on upper-municipal level. For the sake of convenience, these subheadings are used in addition to area classifications also taken into account the divisions of municipalities by size (inhabitant number) and urbanity.
