Neodiprion lecontei Genome sequencing and assembly

Neodiprion lecontei is a relative host generalist that feeds on multiple pine tree species in North America. Study goals include genome-wide comparisons to closely related host specialists that utilize a narrower host range. Data users are expected to allow the data producers to publish the first paper with global analyses of the data, including (but not limited to) sequence data, population genetics, signals of selection, and functional annotations.
