This series consists of the Cabinet papers of Patrick Carl Scully and includes copies of Cabinet Minutes, departmental advice relating to issues raised by cabinet, reports from government departments, explanatory notes for proposed Bills, proposed legislation and amendments to existing legislation, and material relating to the proceedings of Cabinet Committees.Included in the papers are Minutes of the Cabinet Standing Committee on Rural and Natural Resources, Minutes of the Cabinet Standing Committee on Urban Development, papers from the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Government Advertisement, a draft EIS for the Second Sydney Airport, Report and Recommendations of the Wallis Lake Interdepartmental Task Force, and papers relating to the Year 2000 Millennium Strategy.Carl Scully held the portfolio of Minister for Small Business and Regional Development, and Minister for Ports from March to December 1997 and the portfolio of Minister for Transport and Minister for Roads from December 1997.
