Cycads of the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium

The 'Cycads of the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium' collection aims to contribute to the discovery, description and analysis of the Cycadophyta plant division in Australia through collection, exchange, curation and study of high quality herbarium specimens and associated activities and collections based at the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium and with collaborators. The N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium holds 85 specimens of Cycadophyta, all of which were collected in Australia. The collection includes specimens from the families Cycadaceae and Zamiaceae, and 23 distinct species. Specimens have been collected from the Australian states New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. The specimen sheet collection of the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium is databased and available to registered users for online data entry and data query. Records include most standard herbarium label fields (see http://www.une.edu.au/herbarium/collecting.php) as used across Australia (e.g. http://www.anbg.gov.au/cpbr/herbarium/collecting/field-note-book.html) including name, collector(s), locality and habitat.

‘N.C.W.比德尔标本馆苏铁类植物馆藏数据集’旨在依托N.C.W.比德尔标本馆并联合合作方，通过高质量植物标本的采集、交换、整理与研究，以及相关配套活动与馆藏资源建设，推动澳大利亚苏铁门（Cycadophyta）植物的发现、记述与分析工作。N.C.W.比德尔标本馆现藏苏铁门植物标本85份，全部采集自澳大利亚境内。本次馆藏涵盖苏铁科（Cycadaceae）与泽米铁科（Zamiaceae）类群的标本，共计23个不同物种。标本采集范围覆盖澳大利亚新南威尔士州、昆士兰州、西澳大利亚州及北领地。N.C.W.比德尔标本馆的标本馆藏已完成数字化建库，注册用户可在线进行数据录入与查询操作。馆藏记录包含澳大利亚通用的绝大多数标准标本馆标签字段（详见http://www.une.edu.au/herbarium/collecting.php，参考示例：http://www.anbg.gov.au/cpbr/herbarium/collecting/field-note-book.html），涵盖植物名称、采集者、采集地点与生境等信息。
