To explore the relationship between light intensity and flavonoids accumulation in safflower flowers, transcriptome analysis was performed in this study. The safflower flowers under different light intensities were sequenced. A total of 82.01 GB data was gotten. The Q30 of each sample base was greater than or equal to 88.41%. 129 544 Unigenes were generated with 170 757 704 bp, 1 318 bp, 2 090 bp, and 41.59% in total length, mean length, N50 and GC content, respectively.
