The Nold Laboratory – translational immunology in neonatal diseases and beyond

The collection comprises data obtained from cell culture and animal experiments as well as from human tissue by a wide spectrum of methods and technologies, including molecular biology (RNA, DNA and protein analysis, including RNA and protein arrays and flow cytometry), imaging (synchrotron, conventional and confocal microscopy, macroscopic imaging) and data mining (statistical analysis of pro- and retrospective data from humans). The data are centred around mediators of inflammation and their signalling pathways with a focus on clinically relevant topics, particularly in neonatology, with a clear translational potential
