资源简介:
Elizabethkingia is a genus of bacterium in the order of Flavobacteriales. The genus was established in 2005, derived from a branch of the genus Chryseobacterium. Elizabethkingia has been identified in various environmental samples, including soil, rivers, and reservoirs, across the globe. In this study, we present a complete genome sequence of a novel Elizabethkingia species isolated from snake skin in Japan. The initial identification of this strain was conducted in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines (Bruker Japan), employing the MALDI-Biotyper instrument. The identity of the strain was confirmed by determining the sequence of the 16S rRNA gene. The complete genome sequence of this strain has been ascertained. The sequencing was performed through a combination of long-read sequencing by nanopore (Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Tokyo, Japan) and short-read sequencing by DNBSEQ (MGITech Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, China).
