Treatment of urban waste water; energy production and energy consumption

This table contains figures on energy consumption and energy generation in the treatment of waste water in urban or public sewage treatment plants managed by the water boards. The results shall be broken down by type of sewage treatment, sludge stabilisation method and size class of treatment plants. Data available from: 2013. Status of the figures: The 2020 figures in this table are provisional, all other figures are final. Changes as of 12 May 2022: The table is supplemented by preliminary figures for 2020. When are new figures coming?
