Scientists have learned an incredible amount about the genetics, development, and physiology of Arabidopsis. However, its ecology is less well known. By learning more about Arabidopsis we can reveal how genetic and physiological changes help plants respond to climate change. Here, we are georeferencing centuries of specimens of Arabidopsis from around the world, giving us a global, long-term picture of its ecology. The total number of tasks for this dataset is: 1458, number transcribed is 1458 and number validated is 331.
科学家们已对拟南芥(Arabidopsis)的遗传学、发育生物学及生理学开展了大量深入研究,积累了丰硕的认知成果。然而学界对其生态学的了解仍较为匮乏。通过深化对拟南芥的研究,我们能够揭示遗传与生理层面的变化如何助力植物应对气候变化。本研究对全球范围内馆藏的数百年份拟南芥标本进行地理坐标标注,由此构建起该物种生态学特征的全球性长期观测图景。本数据集的总任务量为1458项,其中已完成转录的任务共1458项,通过校验的任务共331项。
