Replication Data for: Predominant mesospheric transient Rossby normal modes prior to stratospheric sudden warming events detected through a phase differencing technique

This study investigates Rossy normal modes with a constraint of both wavenumber and period using two ground-based zonally-separated radars at polar latitude. Detected are predominant 10- and 16-day oscillations before SSW onsets 2009 and 2010, respectively. These oscillations lasted for few tens of days and are associated with a westward traveling zonal wavenumber 1 structure. These results suggest occurrences of predominant Rossy normal modes before the SSW onsets.
