Data and code for: Distinct changes in tropical cyclone seasons between the Western North Pacific and North Atlantic under high-level carbon dioxide climate simulations

This Zenodo record provides the data and Python code supporting the analyses and results in the associated manuscript. The archive includes downscaled tropical cyclone data, monthly environmental model output variables used in the analyses, and processed figure/table data with the original Python scripts used to generate the manuscript figures and tables. The downscaled tropical cyclone records are provided as MATLAB `.mat` files and can be opened and read using MATLAB. Detailed descriptions of the file structure, variables, dimensions, and experiment labels are provided in README.md. Software requirements Reproduction of the figures and tables requires Python 3 with the following packages: • basemap • matplotlib • scipy • numpy • xarray • netCDF4 • pandas Notes on reproducibility To reproduce the figures and tables, run the Python scripts provided in the corresponding FIG subfolders. File paths may need to be adjusted to match the local directory structure. The environmental-analysis data are provided in the simulations directory, and the downscaled tropical cyclone data are provided in the TC_downscaled directory.
