This product provides the data output of the paper entitled "A Shift Toward Extensive Utilization: The Long-term Relations Between Building Volume and Utilization Intensity in China’s 267 Natural Cities", including : (1) LBI and GDPC of the 267 natural cities with a 3-year interval (LBI&GDPC_each3years.xlsx) (2) Type of the 267 natural cities with a 3-year interval (Type_each3years.xlsx) (3) Provincial CPI each year from 2000 to 2020 (Provincial CPI (2000-2020).xlsx) (4) Vactor data of BUV, BUA (count),GDP, NTL, and LBI value of each 1-km-resolution grid (fishnet style) covering the 267 natural cities with a 3-year interval (LBIgte100WithGDP.7z) (5) Vactor data of natural urban boundaries based on BUA of the year 2021 (MUAall_minBounding_2021BUA.7z) (6) Vactor data of urban centers of each metropolitan area using the urban center boundaries from GHS-SMOD to extract, which represent the focal points of building’s physical spatial agglomeration.
