Water Framework Directive (WFD) Coastal Waterbody unit within Irish waters. According to the WFD Article 2(7) “‘Coastal water’ means surface water on the landward side of a line, every point of which is at a distance of one nautical mile on the Seaward side from the nearest point of the Baseline from which the breadth of territorial waters is measured, extending where appropriate up to the outer limit of transitional waters.”爱尔兰海域内的《水框架指令》（Water Framework Directive, WFD）沿海水体单元。根据《水框架指令》第2条第7款的规定："‘沿海水域’（Coastal water）指位于某条界线向陆一侧的地表水；该界线上的每一点，向海一侧距测算领海宽度的基线（Baseline）最近点的距离为1海里，必要时可延伸至过渡水域（transitional waters）的外边界。"
