The chorophyll data set was collected from unknown platforms. Data was collected over two year period spanning from March 1, 1963 to March 31, 1965. The data containing 213 profies was handcarried by Dr. J.S. Sarupria of National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India and received via File Transfer Protocol by NODC from Ocean Climate Laboratory.
