Whole-genome sequencing of Plasmodium falciparum of various geographic origins sampled via patient dried blood spots in Panama

Whole-genome sequencing was performed on Plasmodium falciparum derived from blood spots. Patients donating the blood spots were diagnosed in Panama, but the source of infection was generally presumed to be outside the country.
