The annual power usage of a Politehnica University of Bucharest dormitory (P22) is investigated in this study. With the increasing demand for energy and the pressing need for sustainable practices, understanding the power consumption patterns of educational institutions is crucial for implementing effective energy management strategies. This research aims to analyze the power consumption trends, identify influential factors, and propose potential energy-saving measures for the specified dormitory. The study utilizes historical power usage data collected over a one-year period, including information on lighting, heating, cooling, and appliances. Data analysis techniques, such as statistical analysis and regression modeling, are employed to explore the relationship between power consumption and various factors, such as occupancy, weather conditions, and usage patterns. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the energy consumption patterns specific to the Politehnica University of Bucharest dormitory (P22), facilitating informed decision-making for energy management and promoting sustainability in the university's residential facilities.
