Genome Sequence of Coxiella burnetii Nine Mile II, Clone 4, delta_cbu0533 Mutant Strain, An Alternative for Safer Laboratory Use

In the current study, we determined the genome sequence of a of Coxiella burnetii Nine Mile II (NMII), RSA439, Clone 4, delat_cbu0533 mutant strain. This strain was engineered as a potential laboratory replacement for wild type C. burnetii NMII, which can undergo LPS elongation in specific growth conditions due to cbu0533 mutation reversion.
