Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1963, Omnibus no. 06

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1963 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1963. A total of 12 surveys were carried out in 1963, but omnibus no. 02 could nor be located among the data materials received from the Roper Center. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 06. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1963 omnibuses are: degree of ur- banization; sex; age; marital status; number of persons in house- hold and composition of household; occupational status of head of household and of supporter; income of head of household and total income of family; education of respondent; occupational status of housewife; social group; type of dwelling; and party preference. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Attitude to the tax exemption rule and whether the respondent's income tax would become higher or lower if this rule was repealed; attitude to P.A.Y E. tax in general, and without the tax exemption rule in particular; attitude to Danish membership of NATO and to accepting Spain as a member of NATO; attitude to an S/SF (i.e. the Social Democratic Party and the Socialist People's Party) coalition government if these two parties should obtain the majority in the Parliament after a coming general election; attitude to the Government's proposed Land Laws; and whether the respondent was vaccinated against polio (infan- tile paralysis) in the recent vaccination campaign and whether the respondent has been vaccinated against polio at all
