A glass lantern slide, picking olives from grafted trees, Sylmar, California, USA, circa 1905. Photograph by Keystone View Company, Meadville, Pennsylvania, USA. The slide is accompanied by an information card abour the image. The olive trees were located in Tulare County, includes information about olives as a crop and harvesting them. The image shows two men on ladders, reaching into the trees to pick olives, a third man picks olives while standing on the ground. Rows of olive trees are visible with mountains in the background. The slide is in good condition.
