Galaxy Homogeneity Comparison Using Matched Null Models: SDSS, DESI, and 2dFGRS
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains code and results for a comparative analysis of galaxy homogeneity using SDSS, DESI, and 2dFGRS surveys under matched null models. The pipeline computes D2(r), β(r), and null-relative structural offsets using consistent radial matching, subsampling, and geometry-preserving null construction. The objective is to isolate structural deviations from survey artefacts. Key result:A transition in β-difference behaviour is observed at r ≈ 33.3 ± 0.5 Mpc in DESI and 2dFGRS datasets, while SDSS exhibits a slope change without a zero-crossing. Bootstrap resampling confirms the stability of the transition location. Included: Full analysis pipeline (Python scripts) Derived datasets and summary outputs Bootstrap and robustness tests Example data structure for reproducibility Requirements:Python 3.x, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib This repository is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and independent validation.
