Cognitive function, EEG and symptoms of hypoglycemia during experiments.

Measures of cognitive function, EEG and hypoglycemic symptoms at baseline and during hypoglycemia six days after an intravenous injection of 40,000 IU of EPO or placebo in 11 patients with type 1 diabetes. Autonomic and neuroglycopenic symptoms and symptoms of cognitive dysfunction are presented (in brackets the possible minimum and maximum points). P-values refer to comparisons between baseline and hypoglycemic values. The adjusted effect of EPO compared to placebo is presented in the two columns to the right (ANCOVA).
