Der STEP-SV kann Aspekte der Prozessqualität von Supervision abbilden. Er stützt sich auf Grawes integratives Modell der allgemeinen Psychotherapie (Grawe, 1999). Das Instrument liegt in zwei Versionen mit 12 Items und den Subskalen (1) Klärung, (2) Problemlösen und (3) Beziehung vor: STEP-SV SR dient der Beurteilung der Sitzung durch den Supervisor, STEP-SV TH der Einschätzung durch den Therapeuten. Reliabilität: Die interne Konsistenz betrug Cronbachs Alpha = .83-.86 (Gesamtskala) bzw. Alpha = .66-.80 (Subskalen). Validität: Aus der Therapeutenperspektive korrelierten die Subskalen sowie der Gesamtwert des STEP-SV TH höher mit den Zufriedenheitsurteilen über den Sitzungsverlauf und das Supervisorenverhalten als mit der Bewertung der eigenen Beiträge zur Sitzung. Die Korrelationen aus der Therapeutenperspektive fielen insgesamt niedriger aus. Hier fanden sich erwartungsgemäß ebenfalls höhere Korrelationen der STEP-SV SR-Skalen- und -Gesamtwerte mit den Zufriedenheitsurteilen über den Sitzungsverlauf und dem Supervisorenverhalten als mit der Bewertung des Therapeutenverhaltens. Sehr geringe Korrelationen gab es zwischen den Urteilen von Supervisor und Therapeut. Eine exploratorische Faktorenanalyse erbrachte für STEP-SV TH eine zweifaktorielle und für STEP-SV SR erwartungsgemäß eine dreifaktorielle Lösung. Die jeweils drei Subskalen erwiesen sich in beiden Fassungen als mäßig bis hoch korreliert, so dass ihre Aggregation zu einem Gesamtwert gerechtfertigt erscheint. The instrument is available in two versions with 12 items and the subscales (1) clarification, (2) problem solving and (3) relationship: STEP-SV SR is used for evaluation of the session by the supervisor, STEP-SV TH for evaluation by the therapist. Reliability: The internal consistency was Cronbach's alpha = .83-.86 (total scale) and alpha = .66-.80 (subscales). Validity: From the therapist's perspective, the subscales as well as the total value of the STEP-SV TH correlated more closely with the satisfaction ratings of the session progress and the supervisor behaviour than with the rating of the own contributions to the session. The correlations from the therapist's perspective were lower overall. As expected, there were also higher correlations of the STEP-SV SR scale and overall values with the satisfaction ratings for the course of the session and the supervisor behaviour than with the rating of the therapist behaviour. Very low correlations were found between the assessments of supervisor and therapist. An exploratory factor analysis yielded a two-factorial solution for STEP-SV TH and, as expected, a three-factorial solution for STEP-SV SR.
